Fishing
Luleå has always had a strong fishing tradition and fishing is still an important livelihood in many parts of the municipality.
You will find many different types of waters in the neighbouring areas, from thundering rapids to quiet streams, from stocked lakes to the open sea. The most common kinds of fish are salmon, whitefish, pike and perch.
