Charts
To make it easier for visitors travelling by boat, the City of Luleå Department of Recreation department has issued two special navigation charts. The scale of the charts is 1:25,000 and they cover the most frequented destinations in the Archipelago. Navigable channels and markers are shown, and also installations and services such as jetties, saunas etc.
The Department of Recreation has also issued a special chart for use in winter. The chart covers the whole of the archipelago from Rånefjärden in the north to the waters south of Mannön, scale 1:100,000. Everything you need to know for trips on the ice are marked out, such as areas prone to poor ice and broken ice conditions, snow mobile routes, establishments and services, cabins etc.
Chart No. 1 covers parts of the central Archipelago, Hindersön, Småskär, Kluntarna and a number of other smaller islands.
Chart No. 2 covers parts of the central and southern Archipelago. Klubbviken/Likskär, Rödkallen, Antnäs Börtsskär are among the islands on this chart.
The charts can be bought at the Luleå Tourist Office, and ship stores and bookshops.
Winter Archipelago chart
The Department of Recreation has also issued a special chart for use in winter.
